Zimplats is a single purpose company. Its business is producing platinum group metals from the Great Dyke in Zimbabwe. Zimplats' mission is to conduct the business in a socially and environmentally responsible manner for the benefit of its shareholders, employees and Zimbabwe.

Our aim is to maximize shareholder value by developing and operating our mineral resource. To achieve our purpose, we will develop and retain top quality people, management, skills and technology.

Overview:

• Zimplats is a member of the Impala Group of Companies. (Impala held >86% of Zimplats shares by September 2005)

• The company holds approximately two thirds of the Hartley Complex which is the largest of the platinum hosting centres of the Great Dyke

• This asset positions Zimplats as an important developing supplier of platinum.  

• Zimplats has the potential to grow into a major player in the platinum industry.
