Makwiro Management
Zimbabwe is fortunate to have had a long history of mining,
which includes some major mines producing Gold, Nickel, Copper
and Chrome. As a result, MPM has been able to engage Zimbabwe
citizens with the required skills and expertise for mining
on the Great Dyke, and the operation of the Concentrator and
Smelter. Reliance on expatriate skills has been kept to a
minimum and has mainly deployed expatriates in the feasibility
study, design, and construction phases of the Project.
As previously stated, any additional training that will be
required, is to be provided by Implats. Implats will further
assist MPM through its senior management reviewing the operations
on a periodic basis. The management structure of the project
